Warrior
Strength · Maces · Slams
The Warrior is PoE2's archetypal bruiser — slow, deliberate, and tanky. You commit to weighty slams that hit hard but telegraph, so timing and positioning matter more than speed. It's one of the most forgiving classes to learn on, with armour and life to absorb mistakes while you learn boss patterns.
Ascendancies
Partway through the campaign you choose one ascendancy — a sub-class that sharpens the Warrior into a specific identity. The Warrior has 3:
Titan
Slams, stuns, and raw defence. Channels ancestral strength to hit harder and shrug off blows — the straightforward, sturdy pick.
Warbringer
A totem-and-warcry bruiser that fights alongside ancestral totems and banners, layering shouts onto its slams.
Smith of Kitava
The Warrior's newest path — a defensive, gear-focused specialist. Still settling in; check its current nodes in-game before committing.
Which should you pick?
Want the simplest, sturdiest experience? Titan. Prefer totems and warcries doing work alongside you? Warbringer. Smith of Kitava is the freshest and most experimental of the three.
PoE2 is in Early Access — ascendancy kits get tuned between patches, and the newest ones are still settling. Treat the descriptions above as identity and direction; check the in-game Ascension Trials or the wiki for the exact current nodes before you commit.
